My 2010 in review, all 12 months.

I just borrowed this idea from Glocal Girl’s blog.  It was nice remembering the year, something I haven’t done even in the midst of all this New Years stuff.  Making this post also inspired another New Years Resolution: to take more good photos of everything I do and everywhere I go! I’ve been especially bad since I’ve moved to Chile. It also made me smile, I love the home videos I’ve included.

January:: After surviving New Years Eve on the streets of Valparaiso, Chile, we crammed onto the beach on New Years Day in Viña del Mar.

February:: Spending Valentines Day with Pablo. We rode our bikes around Mission Bay and Pacific beach and went to our favorite place ever, the dog beach in Ocean Beach! That weekend we also lounged around the pool at La Jolla Shores and Pablo sailed his first race with me!  What’s not to love about San Diego in February?

March:: Spring break in Mexico baby!! Pablo returned to San Diego after passing his Engineering degree final test and we flew down to Puerto Vallarta for a few nights.

April:: Okay so even though our Anniversary is officially March 31,  I didn’t have anything super exciting about April (other than getting to spend its entirety with Pablo). For our anniversary Pablo surprised me and took me to Sea World. Here is us on the roller coaster!

May:: My 21st birthday. I fell asleep at 7pm.. not very eventful. But I was so happy to spend it with Pablo before he left San Diego for good.

June:: Finished up my last real semester at UCSD and walked at graduation. And yes, that is an Argentine flag draped across my neck, you got to wear one from the place you studied abroad!

Me with my brother!

July:: Finished up my last class during Summer session and enjoyed my last month in San Diego. I finally went hiking at Torrey Pines, which was basically in my back yard for 3 years. I also went on a spontaneous trip Vegas for the 4th of July!

August:: I moved across the world to be with the person I love and hadn’t seen since May! And got so spend Pablo’s birthday by his side this year (so much better than Skype. Did I mention it was freezing when I got here? That’s real love!

September:: Spent a night at the Ritz with Pablo as a belated Birthday surprise and enjoyed the Chilean Independence Day.

October:: Spent Halloween in Mendoza, Argentina after a horrible bus ride.

November:: Shot my first wedding in Chile.

December:: Another Christmas in Chile. Where it is warm and sunny!

Maternity Photography Santiago

This was my first maternity session. And boy was I happy to see a beautiful photogenic couple as my clients. They couldn’t have made things any easier for me.

Creating this little collection of my favorites made me realize two things:

1. I guess I’m not the hugest fan of belly focused photos, my favorites happened to be the more engagement style photos.

2. I like vertical frames. That probably has something to do with preferring the sky than what ever is horizontally located to the sides of the couple. Not one of these is horizontal.
