I shot all of the photos on the Simply Baby website www.simplybaby.cl which is an awesome, organic, no-sugar-added baby food line in Santiago, Chile. Check out their site for more of my photos!

The second site I’m sharing is the Orthodontist clinic of one of my prior wedding clients, Illanes y Palomino Ortodoncia. I did head shots of the staff and photographed the interior of the clinic. Check out their site here which is full of my photos!

I also photographed the two best hostels in Santiago. The Chimba hostel and Bellavista Hostel. Although they don’t have their official sites updated, you can see some of my photos in La Chimba’s booking.com page here and The Bellavista Hostel’s hostelz.com page here. Unfortunately my work is mixed in with other photos… but the good ones are mine   I shot the dorm rooms, common areas, kitchens, and artsy details of both of them.

It was not an easy decision, but Pablo and I agreed that his job offer to move to Guayaquil, Ecuador (google it!) for a year was an awesome opportunity for us… professionally, as a couple, and as individuals.

Starting in a month (April 2012), I will be based in Ecuador for 1 year. I will be returning to Santiago for the weddings I already have booked throughout the year and will be taking select new bookings in Chile since we will be returning often. But, I will be changing my focus to book Ecuadorian weddings. The info on the website will be changed to accommodate potential clients in Ecuador and Chilean weddings will be considered a “destination” wedding. We do plan to return to Santiago in March 2013, so any date after that is considered, once again, a local booking.

If you are getting married in Chile in the next year, please still feel free to contact me. If I cannot accommodate your wedding date, I know some awesome photographers that I can recommend to you.

No fue una decision facil, pero Pablo y yo decidimos que su oferta de trabajo para mudarnos a Guayaquil, Ecuador por un año era una increible oportunidad para nosotros… profesionalmente, como pareja, e individualmente.

Comenzando en un mes (Abril 2012), estare basada en Ecuador durante 12 meses. De todas formas, voy a regresar a Santiago a fotografiar los matrimonios que ya tengo agendados para este año, y estaré aceptando algunas otras bodas en Chile ya que estaré viajando constantemente. Pero igual cambiare mi foco a reservar bodas en Ecuador. La información en mi pagina web cambiara para ajustarse a los potenciales clientes ecuatorianos, y los matrimonios en Chile seran considerados como “matrimonios en el extranjero”. De todas formas, planeamos volver a Santiago en Marzo 2013, a si que cualquier boda después de esa fecha es considerada una “boda local” nuevamente.

Si te casas en Chile durante los proximos 12 meses, ten la libertad de contactarme. Si no puedo acomodar tu fecha de matrimonio, conozco algunos increibles fotografos que puedo recomendarte.

I wanted to share a few photos in an attempt to be a better travel blogger. I was able to borrow 3 lenses from Canon for this trip, one of which is a tilt shift lens. I’ve never used one, so bare with me while I post my trial and error shots as I get used to it!

I’m still answering emails and booking weddings, so don’t hesitate to email me!

I’ll be back in Santiago by Monday, the 30th, just in time to squeeze in some sessions, meetings, and a wedding before I head back to the US via San Francisco. From there I head to Hawaii to visit my parents on Maui for 10 days, where I’ll work on my tan, and try 3 new lenses I plan to borrow (I get free rentals, now that I’m a Canon Professional!).

From there, I head to Las Vegas for the BIGGEST wedding photography convention in the world, WPPI. I’m registered and ready to come back 100% inspired and motivated to create awesome images and continue building my business. Aside from the classes and convention itself, I’ll be meeting tons of wedding professionals (potential new friends?), some of whom I’ve known online for more than a year now.

So, if I am MIA for the next month, you know why! However, I would love to make these trips be the start of my better travel blogging and travel photography… lets see how that goes!
